This is one of the most inspiring articles ever written. I have compiled it here along with the original forewords by the author, Elbert Hubbard, as well as a short biography about the main character of the story – Andrew Summers Rowan. It was written in 1899 and some of the vocabulary may be lost on a contemporary reader, so I have provided a glossary at the end.
